The Small Business Saturday is coming on Nov 29, it’s a great chance for small businesses to gain new customers and increase sales. Year after year, more communities stood for their small businesses on this day.
Small business Saturday is originally founded by American Express in 2010 to help small businesses to grow. The main goal of this day is to encourage people to shop at small business stores on the Saturday after Thanks Giving. Soon in 2011 the Washington State, governors, mayors and senators officially support this day. More than $5.5 billion spent on small business in this day and more than 1450 neighborhoods champions signed to rally their communities.
To get ready for the fifth annual of the Small Business Saturday, there are few things you can do to get the most of it.

It’s your small business day, celebrate and make it a special event for you and for your customers. Hang balloons and banners, use music to spear the joy.

4. Do local Advertising
Reach out your local media like newspapers, radio or TV. Tell your story and try doing interviews. Encourage them to visit you on this day.
5. Promote on Social media
Use social media to promote your business and participation in this day, you can target your local community through Facebook or twitter ads, join LinkedIn local groups and post on those groups.
